GLASS

Our double-glazed units are 28mm in depth with the standard configuration being (4-20-4) that’s 4mm glass on the outside, 20 mm space and 4 mm glass on the inside. If you are wanting a thicker glass then the space in between is the reduced. For example, 6.38-18-4.

If your wanting good noise reduction we recommend having a laminated glass on one side of the double-glazed unit which reduces the noise passing through the glass.

If you are wanting to reduce the glare of the sun and add a little privacy to your home from outside, we would recommend a grey tinted glass.

For bathrooms and toilets, you may want an obscure glass and there are many different patterns available.

Also, we can add Argon gas to the space between the inside and outside glass. Argon gas is heavier than air and it reduces the heat/cold and noise that can pass through the glass
